It is about time, not about exclusivity
Dr. med. Giulia Hauser-Tillmann gave up her licence to treat patients under the German statutory health insurance scheme, in order to have more time for her patients.
Most bring more than one concern, and some travel a fair distance for it. Both need room in a conversation, and a tightly timed statutory practice day does not allow for it.
Turning away new patients, on the other hand, was never an option for her.
